Who Are We?
Founder Heléne Leichter-Saxby has spent more than thirty years living in England and America . She is a former Country Innkeeper, Artists’ Representative and Author of Cooking Inn Style: A Collection of Country Inn Recipes from England, Ireland, Wales and New England.
Featured Member: Cally Smart launched her second business under the Country Gate umbrella this year. Country Gate Gardens creates beautiful herb gardens and potagers for individuals, workplaces, schools and nurseries. Inspired by her own experience as the daughter of an organic grower, Cally is passionate about the huge benefits of growing your own food and using nature's bounty to make life that little bit better. Her gardens truly are 'food for body and soul'. As well as designing and maintaining productive gardens for all kinds of spaces she also runs workshops and courses for adults and children on growing herbs, vegetables and flowers.
